1. The Ledger of Shadows (What data do we collect?)
To join the preview line and register your status as an active Explorer, you must submit your digital coordinates to our logbook: your Name, Email Address, and eventually your Kickstarter Backer Number. We do not fish for dark secrets, financial chests, or your location in the real world. We only collect the minimal credentials required to verify your place aboard the fleet.
2. Guarding the Manifest (How do we use your data?)
Your details are locked safely inside the Captain's personal sea chest. We use this manifest strictly for three purposes:
- To calculate the live Progress Bar on our main deck, ensuring we reach our community milestone.
- To verify that you are a legitimate Kickstarter backer during the live campaign, granting you safe passage through the Verification Window to access the final puzzle phase.
- To send you future news, secret dispatches, and exclusive alerts about upcoming expeditions from the Dutch Card House Company.
We do not sell, trade, or leak your credentials to rival privateers or corporate merchant guilds.
3. The Cookie Compass (Do we track you?)
Our vessel uses minimal, essential digital compasses (cookies) strictly to ensure the stability of the website, the encryption of the password vaults, and the accurate calculation of the counter formulas. No intrusive third-party tracking nets or behavioral advertising hooks are deployed into these waters.
4. The Right of the Plank (Your rights under GDPR)
Even aboard a pirate fleet, the law of the land applies. Under the protection of the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), you retain full sovereignty over your data. At any point during the expedition, you have the right to request access to what is written in our ledger, or demand that your data be walked off the plank and permanently erased from our databases.
